Teaching and Learning Resource Guide: Overview

The Teaching and Learning Center is a collaborative academic initiative serving both students and faculty and residing in a communal space within the library.  Three campus departments will have a physical presence in the TLC: Student Success, English Department Writing Center, and the Library.  Additionally, some components of the TLC will be housed elsewhere on campus, such as departmental tutoring and faculty development.  The TLC purpose will be threefold:

• To help students achieve academic success by providing resources to enhance learning and personal development
  
  
• To help faculty improve teaching effectiveness, through resources, workshops, and assistance with technology
  
  
• To assist faculty and students with library resources that support teaching, learning, and the academic curriculum
