Dissertation Research in Education: Other Library Catalogs

This guide was created to teach doctoral students to select, search, evaluate and organize their dissertation research project.

Area Library Catalogs

The CMLC Info Pass program is the result of a co-operative agreement among select area libraries to provide one-time access to research materials not available at the patron's affiliated library.  The following is a listing of academic/special libraries in the CMLC group.  These link directly to the library online catalog. Contact the Reference Desk at MC Speed Library if you need an Info Pass.

Not available at Speed Library?

If the College Library doesn't have the book or periodical article that you need, you can request that it be borrowed from another library through interlibrary loan.

Books: are usually received within 1-2 weeks through the mail and are generally at no cost.

Articles: generally take 2-3 days and because of the effort involved in locating and photocopying article requests, it is more common for libraries to charge.
