The English department offers free tutoring for all MC students through the Writing Center located in the Learning Resources Center of Speed Library. The Center is not a proofreading or editing service; instead, the service helps students understand and improve the writing process. Students who would like to take advantage of this service may drop by the Writing Center or call 601-925-7289 or 601-925-3215 to make an appointment.

The MC Research Tutorial will help you negotiate the steps of the research process, from developing your topic, finding credible information, and citing your sources. It will also familiarize you with sources that are specific to Mississippi College. By increasing your information literacy skills, you can more effectively search, select, and evaluate those sources.
