This guide was created to illustrate how technology serves as a bridge to information in an academic library.

The concept of Libraries As Place is demonstrated daily as a high traffic area for the MC Community!!  

  • Computers and programs (Microsoft Office, SPSS, etc.)
  • Open study areas with outlets and ports to accommodate technology
  • Small group study rooms (two are outfitted with monitor)
  • Wifi available on all three library floors
  •  E-classrooms (2nd floor) - 56 computer workstations + projector & screen
  • Small training room setup – 6 computers + tv monitor for instruction  or webinars (primarily for Moodle Training)
  • LRC Equipment  (AV Stands, cameras, Casette Recorder, Clickers, Digital Camcorder, DVD players, headphones, Ipads, laptops, overhead projectors, televisions, tripods, microphones, pocket camera, etc.)
  • Charging Stations on all floors
  • Academic Library as a virtual destination
