The MC Writing Center offers both face-to-face sessions at the center and online consultation for students.
We offer two types of online consultation appointments to meet the needs of MC students: 1) Online Chat appointments, where writers will meet with tutors in a virtual setting; 2) Correspondence appointments, where writers will upload their written papers and receive written feedback from writing consultants within 24 business hours.

Mississippi College’s Writing Center assists undergraduate and graduate students with their writing from any discipline, at any stage of the writing process. Through collaborative discussions between student writers and peer tutors in an encouraging environment, we create a safe, supportive academic community—a community that welcomes everyone, develops writing and thinking skills, cultivates ideas, and builds writers’ confidence.
